We have an exciting opportunity to join the high performing NHS Referral Management Service which is led by General Practitioners. The service manages in excess of 130,000 referrals per year from 50 GP practices in Cornwall.
This role will enable you to learn all areas of the Referral Management Service, whilst completing a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Customer Service with Cornwall College. This role will suit you if you have some experience in customer service and are able to handle more difficult customers. Evidence of a good general education is essential together with good communication skills. You will need to be IT literate, have a confident telephone manner and good attention to detail.
Referral Administrators are responsible for checking referrals and booking hospital appointments for patients.

This is a full time post working 37.5 hours per week.
