Kernow Clinical Commissioning Group Trust serves unarguably one of the most beautiful areas of the country. There are 62 GP practices (from the Lizard peninsula to Bude in the far north of the county) and one acute trust provider in Truro.
Applications are invited for the position of Apprentice Administration Assistant as part of the Nursing and Quality Directorate of NHS Kernow Clinical Commissioning Group.
The Nursing and Quality Directorate covers a range of specialist areas including Adult Safeguarding, Children Safeguarding, Infection Prevention and Control, Clinical Governance, Patient Safety and quality and much more.
This role of Apprentice Administration Assistant is, therefore, an interesting and varied role which will enable you to learn all areas of office administration whilst working towards a Level 2 Certificate in Business Administration . Evidence of a good general education is essential together with good communication skills. You will need to be IT literate, have a confident telephone manner and good attention to detail. The successful candidate will be trained by NHS Kernow on any internal systems.
Due to the exposure of the work involved you will need to be aged 18 or over.
This is a full time post working 37.5 hours per week.
